Pipe Cladding Station
The pipe cladding stations use TIG hot wire welding process. Suitable for automatic welding of carbon steel wire, stainless steel wire, nickel-based alloy wire, wear-resistant welding wire and others. It is mainly used for 12 meter long pipe inner wall anti-corrosion for hot-rolled steel pipes, seamless steel pipes, forging pipes’ inner diameter cladding from 130mm to 850mm.

FITco is honored to provide model XHL-PCS cladding station which is designed for pipes and vessels for oil & gas, chemical, valve manufacturing, pressure vessels and other industries.
The equipment is mainly used for less than 12.5m tube inner wall anti-corrosion welding, welding pipe is driven by end hollow chuck rotation, welding torch by wire rope pull and guide equipment positioning and complete welding into the channel.
It is suitable for the cladding of hot-rolled steel pipes, seamless steel pipes, forging pipes’
inner diameter from 130mm to 850mm.
It is powered by EWM Germany TETRIX 452 DC pulse arc welding power supply and the TETRIX 200 Hot Wire thermal wire power supply.

- Workpiece diameter: φ850mm outer diameter Max,140mm Internal diameter minimum(after clad)
- Workpiece length: up to 12.5m
- Workpiece wall thickness: 9.53 to 80mm
- Workpiece weight: up to 5t
- Tube material: API 5L Gr.B, X52, X60, X65, stainless steel, CrMo steel, etc.
- Wire materials and specifications: ERNiCrMo-3, ERNiFeCr-1, ER316L, ER2209, ERCCoCr-E, ERCCoCr-A, ERNi1, ERCuNi wire diameter s1.2mm;
- Bevel form: inner wall welding without sloping
- Bevel group pair: None;
- Welding position: 1G position welding (weld gun not moving, workpiece rotation)
- Welding method: hot wire TIG
- Warm-up requirements: According to the welding process, the system is not configured to warm up the system.
- Welding layer inspection requirements: 100% UT layering/100% PT
- Typical workpieces: hot-rolled steel pipes, seamless steel pipes, forging tubes, etc.
